What this agreement is

This is the contract between you and Lookie Lab for the use of Lookie Lab. To use the app you have to accept it: at sign-up, by ticking the terms box, or on the terms screen shown before your wardrobe. We keep the version you accepted, the language it was shown in, and the date. If you disagree with any part of it, the answer is not to use the app — and, if you already have an account, to delete it from within the app.

How your data is handled is not here: it is in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.

What the app does

Lookie Lab catalogues the clothes you photograph, assembles looks from them and generates a virtual try-on — an image of you wearing the look, produced by an artificial intelligence model.

An AI-generated image is an approximation, not a photograph. It gets fit, colour and detail wrong, and must not be relied on to decide a purchase, a size, or anything else that depends on accuracy. If an image comes out wrong or offensive, every one of them carries a report button, and a person reads it.

Your account

You need an account: with an email and password, once the email is confirmed, or with your Google or Apple account. If you use a password, you are responsible for keeping it secret; if you sign in with Google or Apple, for keeping that account secure. The account is yours and personal.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.

You may delete your account at any time under Profile → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and final: it takes the garments, the looks, the history and the photos with it, including the body photo.

Subscriptions

The app offers three monthly, auto-renewing subscriptions — Basic, Pro and Premium — and a Free plan with a seven-day trial. Each plan unlocks a number of catalogued garments, virtual try-ons and stylist suggestions per month; the exact figures appear on the plans screen inside the app, next to the price in your currency.

Billing is handled by the store (App Store or Google Play), on the account you use there. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the same price, and is charged up to 24 hours before the current period ends. To stop it, turn off auto-renewal in your store account settings at least 24 hours in advance — cancelling inside the app does not cancel a store subscription.

Cancelling stops future charges; what has already been paid runs to the end of the period. Refunds are the store's, not ours: Apple and Google apply their own rules, and the request has to go to them.

Credits

Credits are bought separately, cover whatever the monthly quota did not, and never expire. What each action costs is written on the plans screen.

They are not money: they earn nothing, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and are gone if the account is deleted.

What you upload

The photos you upload remain yours. You grant us only the licence the app needs to work: to store them, show them back to you, and process them to catalogue the garment and generate the try-on. Nothing is published unless you choose to, and nothing is sold or used for advertising.

You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload, and agree not to upload a photo of another person without their consent, or content that is unlawful, sexual, violent, or infringes someone else's rights.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches this section.

The Inspiration feed

In the feed, people using Inspiration see the looks others chose to publish, and like, save, follow and try those looks on themselves. Inspiration is only for people 18 and over: to get in, you add your date of birth to your profile and accept the community rules below, inside the app. The rest of the app is open from age 13.

By publishing, you license us to show that look — the image, the garments and the caption — to people using the app for as long as the post exists, and you allow others to try the same garments on themselves and publish their own version (a “remix”), shown with your name as the original. You may delete the post whenever you like; its versions go with it.

Before going live, every post and profile photo goes through automated moderation, and whatever it holds back is reviewed by a person. We may refuse, take down or delete any content that breaks these rules, and suspend or close the account of anyone who breaks them.

Community rules

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or for abusive users. Not allowed in the feed: nudity or sexual content; anything that sexualises minors; violence, threats or encouragement of self-harm; hate speech, hate symbols or discrimination; harassment, humiliation or remarks about someone's body in a name, caption or photo; drugs; spam, advertising, links or requests for contact; and photos of another person without their consent.

Seen something that should not be here? Every post and every profile has Report and Block. A person reads every report, and a post reported by several people goes off the air until it is reviewed.

What we do not promise

The app is provided as is. We do not promise it will always be available or free of faults, nor that a suggestion or a try-on will please you or be accurate.

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any loss connected to the app is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the event. Nothing here removes the consumer rights your country's law grants and does not allow to be waived.

Changes and termination

These terms and the Privacy Policy may change. When they change in a meaningful way, the date at the top changes with them and the app asks you to accept the new version before you carry on; if you do not want to, you can sign out or delete your account. A change does not apply retroactively to a subscription already paid for: it takes effect from the following period.

You end this agreement by deleting your account. We may end it if the app is discontinued or in case of a breach — and if we end it without fault on your side, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

This agreement is governed by the laws of Brazil.
